Should I give it a try?

People tell me give it a shot
but they don't understand
How do I give it a shot when
I'm too shy just to talk to you as a friend

Friends say he's sweet he'll treat you rite
but thats not the problem I'm scared to give it a try
because what if it doesn't go the way i plan
Our friendship could hit an end

I don't want to lose you as a friend
because you ARE an awesome guy
but to be more then friends is a challenge
I don't think I could face

But if I know you feel the same
way maybe god with give us faith
and maybe we could be the type that
even if its over we could still be the goodfriends we use to be :]
